Appraiser:
A Practitioner who has the knowledge and expertise necessary to estimate the value of an asset, or the likelihood of an event occurring, and the cost of such an occurrence.
Adjuster:
An insurance company representative who investigates claims and makes settlement recommendations based on the estimate of the damages and the company's liability.
Without Prejudice (WOP):
Insurance carrier is agreeing to pay for certain dealings, it is not accepting the liability for those body sites until the record is further developed.
Policy Limit:
Is the dollar amount of the insurance available to pay all claims related to one occurrence for a specific coverage.
Deductible:
Refers to the dollar amount you are responsible to pay, first, in the event of a claim. The insurance company is responsible for the amounts in excess of the deductible.
